There is a wealth of activities to suit every need just moments away from your accommodation in Praia da Luz. Other than the beautiful beach and ocean just metres away, you'll find world class golf courses, dolphin watching, walking, mountain biking, adrenaline pumping extreme sports and much more just around the corner. There truly is something for everyone.

Golf

Family days out: water parks, boat trips..

Sightseeing
Drive up to Foia (902m), the highest point in the Algarve and enjoy a chicken piri-piri. Drive to the “end” (or is it the beginning) of Europe and see one of the most powerful lighthouses in Europe. Walks
Walk along the waterfront all the way to Burgau for a coffee or even along the clifftops to Lagos. You can take a bus back to Praia da Luz if you do not feel like walking back. Click here for more info.
The Western Algarve is a paradise for mountain biking. Nothing too difficult or dangerous but very scenic and fun. Many marked trails make navigation easy and maps are available. Water Sports
Fancy water-skiing, jet-ski, sailing, coasteering, Torpedo riding, dare devil flying fish riding…….It all happens right in front of your apartment. Tickets can be reserved at the reception. Surfing
With optimal conditions throughout much of the year, Portugal has become a mecca for surfers. The highest wave in the world to be surfed was in Nazaré, about 4 hours by car from Praia da Luz. Nevertheless, being on the South West corner of the Algarve you are never far from some of Europe’s best waves! Fancy a tandem sky dive? A breath taking experience in Alvor, just 30 mins by car from Praia da Luz. Not as expensive as you might think and definitely an experience you won’t forget! Race around one of the most renowned tracks in Portugal just 30 mins fore Praia da Luz at the Formula 1 race track. A fun experience for everyone. Tiring but exhilarating.
