Slide&Splash (35 mins by car)

is an exciting water park with a range of exhilarating slides and pools providing fun for all the family. There are some amazing water slides (some not for the faint hearted), family pools and other attractions. Best to take a picnic and an umbrella during the warmer months.

Lagos Tree top adventure and Paintball (15 mins by car)

Adventure for the whole family. Great for bonding with the youngsters. Not afraid of heights? Then this is for you, getting from treetop to tree top using very unconventional means. If that is not enough, you can all shoot each other during a session of paintball!

ZooMarine (40 mins by car)

is an aquatic theme park. There are nail-biting rides to enjoy but also fantastic shows featuring dolphins, seals and sea lions, with tropical birds and birds of prey. There's even the chance to swim and play with dolphins!

'Bom Dia' traditional sailing boat (15 mins by car)

Go for a half day tour of the Lagos bay with spectacular views of the cliffs and caves and opportunities to swim and snorkel in crystal clear waters. This is a fabulous way to discover the magnificent coast with its stunning landscape of strange rock formations, caves and grottos.

Aquashow (50 mins by car)

is the most complete aquatic and thematic park in Portugal. Numerous attractions such as watercoasters, waterslides, mini trains, roller coasters, shows and leisure areas are scattered throughout the park and offer all the facilities you would expect from a leading water park in Portugal, with ample areas for spas, recreation and catering, for the whole family. this park also has the highest waterslide in Europe at a breath taking 32 meters (105nft !!!!

Jet Boat Tour (Lagos, 15 minutes from your apartment in Luz)

This a completely mad boat ride with thrilling slides, spin-outs and power stop splashes! A 45 minute adrenaline adventure Jet Boat ride that combines a breath-taking scenery with a mad boat ride just of Lagos! Not suited for small children. Dress code: bathing suit as you will get VERY wet…but with a smile.

Lagos Zoo (15 mins by car)

It is a great alternative for those who want to spend a different day in the family. A fantastic environment, fun animals and a team always willing to help. The design of the spaces, the landscaping and an extreme care in the details according to the species made the recognition that the Lagos Zoo enjoys today, not forgetting the welfare of its animals and architectural simplicity.

DOlphin watching (15 mins by car)

A wonderful half-day experience that combines a boat trip, a sight-seeing tour and dolphin watching all in one. The crew is kind and competent, have a great sense of humour and do their best to make your trip a memorable one. Click here for more information

Aqualand (30 mins by car)

A water park with attractions for the whole family but more for younger children that will have a great time in the Kids Paradise area, where they will be able to create their own adventures.

Grotto Tours

The rock formations and impressive caves just off Lagos and Ponta da Piedade are internationally renowned for their unique beauty. They are impossible to visit except by sea. Take a guided boat tour and visit the interiors of magnificent grottos and caves, including the “living room”, “the elephant”, the “Camel” and the “Skull” to name but a few.

You will also pass in front of breath-taking beaches such as Praia da Dona Ana , Praia do Camilo and Praia do Barranco Martinho.

You can book your tour at the reception at the Luz Beach Apartments. Tours can start right from the beach in Luz or you can combine a grotto tour with a visit to the town of Lagos.

Pro Putting Garden (15 mins by car)

Mini- or crazy golf may be a thing of the past but this new pro-putting garden is loads of fun for the whole family. Practice your putting whilst avoiding water being squirted at you by a hidden frog before crossing a pond on a raft to get to the next hole.
